We stopped in at the house site after church yesterday. The new house now has both footings and foundations.
This the base of the great room/kitchen area, taken from the corner of the kitchen and looking across the great room towards the back yard (which will be kinda small).
The master bedroom and master bath area. You can see the retaining wall in this shot. We'll be planting rock roses and other things on the hillside behind the house.
This is from approximately where the powder room window will be... and it has a view of the city. No houses are being built that will block this. My office will be upstairs and will see the same thing from 15 feet higher. Cooooooool!
