Blow job of the day?

This is a camera showing Mt. Redoubt in Alaska. (Why, what did you think I meant?)

A different view of Mt. Redoubt can be found here.

Mt. St. Helens

I wanted to take a moment to post a picture I took on Saturday driving home from Tacoma. In a very rare instance, Mt. St. Helens was clear from 50 miles to the North. The north slope on the left is the part that blew out on May 16, 1980 and caused the pyroclastic flows of boiling mud. This picture was taken with extreme magnification, but if you look carefully you can just make out the steam plume in the middle. As we got closer, we could clearly see the steam plumes forming and rising.
The mountains here are our local reminder that Nature bats last.
